Laura Nedli
Laura Nedli is the Vice President of Accountability and Transparency and Chief Financial Officer at Anti-Cruelty where she is responsible for the organization’s accountability and transparency to its constituencies and the community and ensures the optimal effective and efficient use of the organization’s financial and capital assets.
Laura has more than 25 years of audit, accounting and finance experience in support of not-for-profit organizations. Laura has held the position of Chief Financial Officer at Portland Cement Association and Chief Financial and Operating Officer at Anixter Center. Her background also includes positions as Director of Financial Operations and IT at Brethren Benefit Trust, Inc. and Controller at Bryn Mawr Country Club.
Laura believes in the effective and efficient use of technology to assist the organization’s in carrying out their mission. Over her career, she has built and retained highly functioning teams comprised primarily of tenured staff and rarely new hires.
Laura is a licensed certified public accountant in Illinois and holds a Bachelor’s degree from DePaul University with a double major in Finance and Accounting.
