If you’re a teen looking for a one-day, on-site volunteer opportunity with The Anti-Cruelty Society, register for Shelter Service Day!
The Anti-Cruelty Society welcomes teens to our Shelter Service Day! This unique volunteer opportunity occurs the last Wednesday of every month. Use your crafting skills to create toys and beds for the animals at The Anti-Cruelty Society so that they can stay cozy and happy while they are in our care.
- Do you want to help shelter pets, and earn service learning hours? Join us for an afternoon of volunteering
- Did you already complete a Service Learning Project at home? You can drop off your completed project during Shelter Service Day. Remember to bring any paperwork you need to have signed in order to verify your hours!
- Are you part of After School Crafting Club? Pick up your craft kit and drop off your items here
- 6/30, 3:30–5 p.m.
- 7/28, 3:30–5 p.m.
- 8/25, 3:30–5 p.m.

Below is the current list of projects approved for use in our shelter. While you volunteer, you will have the chance to work on some or all of these. Click on the links to learn how to make each project before you arrive. A staff member will also be available to guide you through crafting during each event.
