About Bark in the Park
The Anti-Cruelty Society is excited to host the 25th anniversary of Chicago’s oldest and largest dog-friendly party—Bark in the Park!
Each year, thousands of people and dogs gather together along Chicago’s breathtaking lakefront to raise funds for The Anti-Cruelty Society’s work to help animals in need. What to Expect
Bark in the Park is Chicago’s oldest dog-friendly party for the whole family which is celebrating its 25th year! Beginning with a 2.5 mile walk along Chicago’s beautiful lakefront, the event is followed by the best dog party in town with food, beverages, activities, and more.
Guests are encouraged to come for the walk and stay for the party. Guests can show their commitment to our work by raising funds for their participation in the walk and they then return to the event for a variety of fun activities including dog-friendly demonstrations including canine agility courses, product samples from small business sponsors, dog massages, pawdicures, caricature drawings, arts and crafts, family-friendly activities, souvenir photos, and a 50/50 cash raffle. People also enjoy a variety of free food, a beer tent, live music and much more!
Join us from 9:00 a.m. for the walk (registration begins at 7:30 a.m.) and then stay for the party! The event runs until noon.
Bark in the Park is held on the southeast corner outside of Soldier Field at The Stadium Green—just steps from the lake. Parking is available adjacent to the Stadium Green for $20 at the Waldron Lot.
