Perfect Way for Teens to Give Back

Do you want to be part of an organization that has been committed to caring for and protecting animals since 1899? The Teens Who Care program may be the perfect way for you to give back!

The Teens Who Care volunteer program gives teens ages 13–18 an opportunity to do hands-on volunteer work throughout different departments at The Anti-Cruelty Society. Youth have an opportunity to earn service learning hours, hone job skills, learn about animal behavior, and more in this exciting hands-on volunteer program.

Program Requirements

  • Commitment to The Anti-Cruelty Society mission and philosophies
  • Positive attitude
  • Able to work independently or on a team
  • Maintain a professional demeanor
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Able to commit to program attendance requirements

Must submit an application and attend an in-person interview

Program Responsibilities

Teens Who Care volunteers will provide support by helping with:

  • Cleaning Assistance
  • Enrichment Construction
  • Office Assistance
  • Special Event Assistance
  • Plant Care
  • Animal Socialization

Orientation: Friday December 17 (4:30–6:30 p.m.)
