Continue reading to learn about our training process and options for groups, families, and teens.

We recognize the valuable role that volunteers play, which is why we are committed to providing training and support to every volunteer who engages with our organization. We have developed a comprehensive volunteer training curriculum to equip you for your volunteer journey. 

 

Volunteer Onboarding 

Step 1: Submit a volunteer application. Create a profile on the “MyImpactPage” website to complete a volunteer application.    

Step 2: Attend Volunteer Orientation. Join us for an in-person orientation to learn more about volunteering while receiving a behind-the-scenes tour of the River North facility.  During orientation you will pay a $20 fee which covers the cost of your Volunteer T-shirt, and name badge. Financial Assistance is available is available. Email volunteer@anticruelty.org for details.  

Step 3: Schedule and complete two hours of CORE activities (Laundry, Courtyard, or miscellaneous tasks as assigned).
 
Ongoing Training Opportunities 

Once a volunteer has completed 2 hours in CORE they qualify to train in level 1 Porgram Training.
