National Adoption Week Fall 2021
About The Event
Adopt your new best friend during The Anti-Cruelty Society's and PetSmart Charities Fall National Adoption Week. From Monday, November 8 through Sunday, November 14, visit the Society’s Everyday Adoption Center in the South Loop PetSmart, or one of the other Chicago area PetSmart partner stores where animals from The Anti-Cruelty Society are available for adoption.
Adopting a new furry friend is one of the best decisions you can make. Not only are you adding a new member to the family, but you are also making space for other animals in need while they await their forever home. Adoption fees will be waived for dogs and cats, five months and older during the event.
All locations are offering only drop-in adoptions on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Adoption hours at the South Loop Everyday Adoption Center (cats, dogs, & small animals):
Monday–Saturday: 10:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
The Everyday Adoption Center is located at 1101 S. Canal St., Chicago in PetSmart, lower level. Free parking is available in the attached parking garage on the lower level.
