About The Event
Martin Luther King Jr. talked about the importance of giving back. To many, MLK day is about a day of service. We are offering an opportunity for you to come help and engage in our community of caring by dropping in to provide volunteer support on this national day of service and help us positively impact the lives of homeless pets.
- Reading to adoptable pets
- Socializing adoptable dogs

Come in for a few minutes or spend the whole day with us!

WHY: Giving back is a great way to show compassion in action!
This is a great way to give back and all ages are welcome with parent/guardian supervision. Free parking is available on-site. The event is free to the public but we always welcome donations to offset the cost of the materials we use to develop enrichment items for our shelter animals. Please be aware that due to the popularity of this event it may become crowded at times and there may be a small wait time for certain activities.
