BARK’s triumphant return after two years was incredible!
Thanks to all for making this day so special!
Hundreds of animal lovers and their four-legged companions joined The Anti-Cruelty Society at Soldier Field on May 21 for Chicago’s BEST dog party in its 28th year and it was an un-fur-gettable time! ABC7 Chicago legends, Roz Varon and Hosea Sanders, along with Steve Tingle from 97.1 The Drive, brought the energy and helped lead a fun-filled day of live music, zoomies on the lakefront path, dog demonstrations, yummy treats, and so much more! Even though we had to wrap-up the PAW-ty just a bit early due to inclement weather, it was a PAWS-itively PURR-fect morning.
We are tremendously grateful to our sponsors, volunteers, donors, and fundraisers for making today possible and helping us raise lifesaving funds and awareness for our shelter animals in need. The Anti-Cruelty Society is on a mission of building a healthy and happy community where pets and people thrive together, and every dollar raised today helps make that a reality!
You can still help us reach our goal by continuing your fundraising or donating here!
We are excited to share the BARK Digital Program & Goodie Bag! It’s a jam-packed virtual booklet that includes coupons from our vendors for future purchases, a listing of activities at BARK, plus it offers a lot of helpful summertime pet-care articles.
This year’s BARK was dedicated to the memory of the late Chicago Police Officer Ella Grace French who lost her life in the line of duty in August of 2021. Officer French was a lifelong animal lover and was known for her commitment to care for homeless animals. We were honored to celebrate her legacy at today’s event.
Thank you again, we will see you next year at BARK 2023!
