What is the Hype Team?
The Anti-Cruelty Hype Team include both staff and volunteers who put up posters, hand out flyers, and spread the word in their neighborhoods. Commitment is just 1–2 hours per month, which includes picking up materials (we’ll provide them), active participation, and reporting on placements. It’s a great way to unplug and try something different from your usual routine!
Activity Structure
- Materials: The Marketing department will provide posters, flyers, and tape.
- Pick-up: Materials will be available for pick-up at a spot that's easy grab-and-go access
- Postering: Place in high-traffic, community-friendly locations (coffee shops, gyms, pet stores, libraries, etc.).
- Poster removal: Take down your posters within one week after the campaign ends.
Reporting
- How many posters/flyers you placed.
- General locations (e.g., “3 coffee shops in Lincoln Square, 1 library”).
- Following-up that posters/flyers have been removed.
