DIY Donations

General Do-It-Yourself Donations

Anyone and everyone is invited to utilize our collection of craft tutorials to create enrichment items to donate to shelter pets. Consider creating a set of solo or getting together with a group of co-workers for a private crafting party. No matter how you choose to make your DIY Donations, each item you create will help a shelter pet feel a bit more at home during their stay.

Completed DIY Donations can be dropped off in-person at our main adoption center at 510 N. LaSalle St. any day of the week between 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. or mail your creations to 157 W. Grand Ave. Chicago, Illinois 60654 .

DIY Toys

Do you want to give back and help animals at the same time?
Do some DIY projects in the comfort of your own home?

Gather a group of friends and make even more enrichment toys for our animals!  These projects are a great way to help shelter pets, from home!

All pets need behavioral enrichment items  to keep them busy, happy, and stimulated while they live within a shelter environment. For this reason, we have created a number of Do-It-Yourself crafting tutorials to give animal lovers throughout the community a way to pitch in and help out.

Our collection of craft tutorials will show you how to bring the comforts of home to the animals in our care. All the items can be made from recycled materials, so they’re not only good for the animals, but good for the environment too!
