Up the bridge, through the tunnels and over the jumps! That’s just a bit of the excitement that your dog can experience at the 24th Annual Bark in the Park fundraiser on Saturday, May 19 with the walk beginning at 9:00 a.m. and the festivities ending at noon. All ages of humans and dogs are welcome at the Stadium Green located next to Solider Field in Chicago to celebrate the loving pets in our lives and help those who are still waiting to find their forever homes.
More than just a fundraiser, The Anti-Cruelty Society’s Bark in the Park is the largest dog-friendly party in Chicago. It features free food, live music, and a beer tent! Enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities, pet-themed merchandise and giveaways in our open-air ‘barket-place,’  doggie massages, and more!

  • Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.
  • Walk starts at 9:00 a.m.
  • Beer tent opens at 10:00 a.m.
  • The party continues with activities, vendors and entertainment 10:00 a.m. to noon

Begin your morning with an optional 5K stroll with (or without) your dog along Chicago’s beautiful lakefront path. Gather a team or walk along with other animal lovers. Walkers have the option to fundraise on behalf of our furry friends as an extra boost to support the thousands of homeless cats and dogs we care for each year.
After your walk, you and your doggy friend will enjoy over 50 pet-related sponsors and vendors, as well as food and drink samples. A Tucker Pups canine agility course will be available for your dog to show off his/her skills and some of Chicago’s leading dog trainers will be on hand for dog demonstrations and tips. And of course, don’t miss the beer tent, live music, contests, and much more!

Your registration and participation at Chicago’s largest dog-friendly event makes a difference to thousands of homeless, abandoned and neglected animals throughout the region. Help us out a bit more by making a commitment to fundraise as an individual or a team.

Cost for the event is:

  • ADULTS: $40 before 5/19 or $45 on 5/19
