Youth Who Care

Our Community of Caring

This program is temporarily on hiatus. We appreciate your patience and understanding. Please check back for updates!

Youth Who Care is an animal advocacy and volunteer program for youth ages 10–12 years old.
During this program participants will learn about a variety of topics including animal behavior, training, care and other animal welfare issues. Tweens will also have the opportunity to learn about shelter operations while meeting some of the amazing animals in our care. Activities may include in-kennel clicker training, small mammal care, operations support, media creation and more! Students will be able to earn service learning hours during the course of the program.

Please note that space is limited and the program will be capped at 10 participants. There is a $5 donation requirement for each session.
As space is limited, please limit registrations to only sessions that you will be able to attend.

If you have any questions regarding the program, please contact learn@anticruelty.org.
