Youth Who Care

Our Community of Caring

Youth Who Care is an animal advocacy and volunteer program for youth ages 9-12 years old.

During this program participants will learn about a variety of topics including animal behavior, training, care and other animal welfare issues. Tweens will also have the opportunity to learn about shelter operations while meeting some of the amazing animals in our care. Activities may include in-kennel clicker training, small mammal care, operations support, media creation and more! Students will be able to earn service learning hours during the course of the program.

This exciting opportunity will be hosted at The Anti-Cruelty Society from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Saturday, September 28
  • Saturday, October 19
  • Saturday, November 23
  • Saturday, December 14

Please note that space is limited and the program will be capped at 10 participants. There is a $5 donation requirement for each session.
