Pet Wellness in the Community
Proper pet care is important for every pet and owner, and that is why our dog wellness fairs go beyond giving free vaccinations, microchips, and nail trims. It includes education components such as how to properly harness or put a collar on a dog as well as what leash is best for you and your dog’s walking style. This important knowledge can make all the difference! Properly fit harnesses and collars mean less dogs escaping their owners on walks. Using the right leash means better walking and interacting with others they encounter on walks.
Our goal is to provide dog care supplies like harnesses, collars, toys, treats, bowls, beds, and leashes and these are just a few of the items The Anti-Cruelty Society needs to make these dog wellness fairs a success.
We are asking for donations to help dog owners who live in pet supply and veterinarian deserts. These pet necessities make our outreach more meaningful at these wellness fairs. Your donation of these goods helps keep dogs in their homes and out of the shelters in addition to helping educate the public on proper pet care.
The Anti-Cruelty Society is hosting their next Dog Wellness Fair on September 18. Donations of harnesses, leashes, collars, treats, and toys are much appreciated. Click here to donate these items via our Amazon Wish List. Thank you in advance!
