This unique virtual program offers a behind-the-scenes look at some of the important facets of the work we do to help people and pets at Anti-Cruelty.
Tune in from your computer or other device as we show you different areas of our River North facility together with an Anti-Cruelty staff member in this guided tour. Every day is a little different at an animal shelter, and we look forward to exploring topics such as:
- The different aspects and departments of an animal shelter
- How learning to read animal body language helps both people and animals
- Why communicating with others is important when caring for pets
- The different ways Anti-Cruelty helps both animals and people
- What a typical day is like for a shelter pet
- The basics of caring for a pet
- How you can help animals in your community
