Jennifer GoodSmith is the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for The Anti-Cruelty Society where she oversees marketing strategy, brand management and content, creative services, media relations, and strategic communications with an emphasis on finding the right way to distribute the right messages through print and digital communications.
Jennifer has more than 30 years of marketing and communications experience with non-profits in health care, higher education and member organizations. Prior to joining The Anti-Cruelty Society, she was Vice President of Marketing and Communications for The Morton Arboretum, where she launched a successful new brand, while growing attendance by more than 35%. She was Vice President of Integrated Marketing at the American Medical Association where she was responsible for marketing strategy and integrated physician communications. Jennifer also worked in higher education, where she built marketing programs design to position universities to recognize and embrace what makes them distinctive while building brand recognition through traditional and social media channels.
Jennifer believes in the power of great marketing and communications as a way to share the important work of the Society to care for and protect animals. By raising awareness and the profile of the Society, she focuses on how to best engage people to become embrace the mission of The Anti-Cruelty Society and to become advocates for animal welfare.
