Pet Visitation

In this program volunteers connect with our Humane Education Department to coordinate visits throughout the community to share the love of their pet with others.

Volunteer candidates must be able to provide their own transportation and have a dog in their care with a Canine Good Citizen Certification. The Anti-Cruelty Society also requires anyone looking to join our Pet Visitation team to attend a formal volunteer orientation session. The Volunteer Orientation reviews our organization’s history, volunteer opportunities, and our ongoing mission to help pets and educate people. For a list of upcoming Orientation Dates, please contact our Volunteer Services team at volunteer@anticruelty.org

After attending a Volunteer Orientation, participants will be contacted by the Humane Education department when outreach presentations are requested.
