Fostering Bella

When Bella first arrived at The Anti-Cruelty Society, she was shut down and stressed by the busy environment. Knowing there was more to this dog than the behaviors she was exhibiting in the shelter, we reached out to our foster team to find a home for Bella until she could find her forever home.

Bella’s foster mom, Angela, has gotten to know Bella over the last few weeks and has seen what a great dog Bella is. She knows “sit”, and “leave it”, and loves to practice in return for a tasty treat. Don’t believe us? Check out the photos and videos her foster mom has been posting in hopes of helping her find a forever home.

Bella has lived with children but she is strong enough to knock over small kids out of excitement. Meeting new dogs is also exciting for Bella and she’s getting better at her social interactions. She also finds her reflection in mirrors to be interesting and lets you know by barking! Bella will make a fantastic dog for her new family, so if you’re interested in adopting Bella, email foster@anticruelty.org.
