Youth Who Care is an animal advocacy and volunteer program for youth ages 10-13 years old. This exciting opportunity will be hosted at The Anti-Cruelty Society.

During the course of the program participants will learn about a variety of topics including animal behavior, training, care and other animal welfare issues. Tweens will also have the opportunity to learn about shelter operations while meeting some of the amazing animals in our care. Activities may include in-kennel clicker training, small mammal care, operations support, media creation and more! Students will be able to earn service learning hours during the course of the program.

Youth Who Care will have two Summer Sessions available. Both sessions will cover the same materials. Applicants may apply for one session only. Application deadline is May 18.
