Charity Navigator Recognizes The Anti-Cruelty Society as a 4-Star Rated Charity
The Anti-Cruelty Society receives prestigious rating for third consecutive year
CHICAGO—The Anti-Cruelty Society announced it received the coveted 4-Star Rating from Charity Navigator demonstrating strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency.
The 4-star rating is the highest possible rating awarded from Charity Navigator, America’s largest and most-utilized independent evaluator of charities. It indicates that The Anti-Cruelty Society adheres to sector best practices and executes its mission in a financially efficient way. Attaining a 4-star rating verifies the Society exceeds industry standards and outperforms many other charities. Only 17% of the charities evaluated by Charity Navigator have received at least three consecutive 4-star evaluations.
“We’re honored to receive the 4-star rating from Charity Navigator for the third year in a row,” says Robyn Barbiers, DVM, President of The Anti-Cruelty Society. “We are proud of the work we do in the animal welfare community and believe providing transparency to our donors and supporters will help us continue our life saving work.”
