Become a Foster Meet our Adoptable Animals Previous Next Volunteer Appreciation Week 2024 We are thrilled to commemorate the dedication and hard work of our volunteers and fosters as we celebrate Volunteer Appreciation Week during our 125th Anniversary year. Back in 1899, Rose Fay Thomas brought together a group of like-minded volunteers to establish Anti-Cruelty. Since then, volunteers have played a crucial role in the organization's success. This week, we pay tribute to volunteers across the organization, including those who support foster care, animal care, adoption matchmaking, clinic support, youth engagement, community care, and more. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for your contributions in helping both pets and people thrive together. Wishing you all a Happy National Volunteer Appreciation Week, and a massive THANK YOU for all you do!
